St Aidans was built in 1961 to serve the Christian Community in Oxspring as a centre for worship. St Aidan's continues to offer worship on 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 9am. In addition, the building can be hired for events, and is used for Brownies, The Good Companions, and other organisations.

The Good Companions meet every Wednesday between 2 and 4pm in St Aidan's. Play bingo, dominoes, and whist, or simply chat. Why not come along and join us over a cup of tea?
Visits out are planned for the year to the sea-side, shows and meals out.

The Oxspring Primary School PTAl is a fund raising organisation consisting of parents and members of staff. It has developed over the past years with the Annual Duck Race being the largest fun raising event. The money raised is for the benefit of our children attending Oxspring School. The Committee meet very informally approximately once every half-term. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings.

Oxspring Trunce Runners

The Trunce is a 4.5 mile cross-country race held every 3 weeks in the summer months. It starts and finishes at the Oxspring Playingfield by the Waggon and Horses pub. The Trunce has been an annual event around 36 years and regularly attracts runners from a wide area bounded by Doncaster, Huddersfield, and Barnsley.

An executive committee organises voluntary participation from all people in Oxspring to preserve and enhance existing historical and environmental features, to promote interest in the local history and environment for the enjoyment of current and future generations. It also forges links with other similar groups within the area, and promotes a general awareness of matters relating to the environment and conservation. Membership is open to all residents of Oxspring, and the meetings are open to all to request ideas for further initiatives, and put forward detailed project plans for approval.
