Restaurant food, bar meals, with a children's menu, and daily specials on the board are available. Food is prepared on a cook-to-order basis and is worth waiting for in the comfortable bar area. The Restaurant offers splendid views over Oxspring and the moors, and those who enjoy the outdoors and welcome in the beer garden and secure children's play area. Food is available Monday to Friday 12-2pm and 5:30-9:30pm, Saturday from 12-4pm and 7-9:30pm, Sunday Lunch served all day, but booking is advisable.

Local Events and Cinema
St Aidan's Church Penistone & Thurlstone Team Ministry The Vicarage Penistone S36 6DY St Aidans was built in 1961 to serve the Christian Community in Oxspring as a centre for worship. St Aidan's continues to offer worship on 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 9am. In addition, the building can be hired for events, and is used for Brownies, The Good Companions, and other organisations.

The Pinfold Unique area of the village with its own vital part in history. Children love the animal sculptures, while the benches make it good for a break from a walk, or a picnic. Nearest place to park is the Playingfield car park.
